Craving for Halo-halo but the weather outside is frightful? Well, we have Bilo-bilo, pronounced as [bee-LOW-bee-LOW]. Also called “Ginataan” and “Binignit” in other Filipino dialects.

What’s In A Bilo-Bilo?

The sweet base is a thick and luscious combination of glutinous rice balls, jackfruit preserve, young coconut, tapioca pearls slowly simmered in coconut cream, milk, and topped with Japanese sweet yam, Tapioca Root yam, Purple Yam jam and Steamed Saba Banana.
